The Ongoing Declutter: A Lifestyle for Spacious Living

The Power of Less: A Decluttering Guide for a Simpler Life
By Logan Jackson March 23, 2025

Hey there! You’ve taken that wonderful first step into decluttering, and I’m so excited for you! Let’s keep that momentum going, shall we? You’re going to reach that feeling of spaciousness and peace soon, I just know it. And honestly, this decluttering journey is the perfect way to prepare for your tiny house adventure – it’s going to make that transition so much smoother.

You know, I’ve found that decluttering isn’t a one-time thing; it’s more like a gentle, ongoing process. I love to take a little time every few months to go through my things, just to make sure I’m keeping things streamlined. It’s not about being rigid or strict, but more about embracing a lifestyle of simplicity and clean, open spaces.

For me, it’s especially important because of my two sweet pups. One of them has special needs, and that means I need to keep things really consistent and organized. Everything has its place, and I try to avoid moving things around or creating obstacles. It’s all about making their lives comfortable and safe. And you know, I think this kind of thoughtful decluttering can be so helpful for anyone, especially if you have little ones running around – or grandkids!

But really, no matter your situation, creating a decluttered space is like giving yourself a gift. It’s not just about the physical space; it’s about creating a sense of calm and reducing stress. And who doesn’t need a little more of that? So, let’s keep going, together, one step at a time. You’re creating a beautiful and peaceful space, and I’m cheering you on every step of the way.

I’m in my third year of minimalism, and I’m benefiting every day from the peace and rest of our highly simplified home!

I am in my second year and I was telling my mother the other day it is time to do another declutter. She said what else can you get rid of? LOL I was like there is always stuff to get rid of. I love this life style. I am not sure about you but when I get to much stuff right now my anxiety goes up.
