Hey, everyone! I’m Logan Jackson, and a huge welcome to Jackson Homesteading! I’m so excited to have you join me on this adventure. I’m 45, and right now I’m living in West Georgia, but I’m absolutely buzzing with anticipation for my upcoming move to Alabama! I’ll be sharing my new tiny home with my wonderful dogs, Queen Maddie and Ace, and we’re all counting down the days until we can settle into our little slice of paradise.
Right now, I’m living in a tiny home that I converted from a shed back in 2022 with a friend. It’s been a great learning experience, but since I don’t own the land, I’m pretty limited in what I can do. I’m mostly relying on big box stores for my food and supplies, and honestly, I’m really ready for a change. I’m dreaming of a more self-sufficient lifestyle, and I’m so excited to make that a reality in Alabama.
I’m just bursting with ideas for homesteading once we’re settled! I’ll be filling my greenhouse with all sorts of delicious veggies and herbs, and I can’t wait to get started with cooking, baking, and canning. Imagine fresh sourdough bread, homemade fruit gelatins, and the most flavorful jams! I’m truly passionate about knowing where my food comes from, and I’m on a mission to create as much as possible from scratch. Of course, I’ll still need to source some things, so I’m always on the lookout for fantastic organic options.
