Hey everyone! I wanted to share some real-life updates on my journey towards that dream of land ownership and tiny house living as of last Friday. The vision still burns bright and grows stronger every day! ✨

Now, for the honest truth: the funding road has a little detour. It looks like securing everything I need might take another 6 months to 2 years. While that might sound like a pause, I see it as more time to prepare and dream even bigger!

And speaking of dreams, my potential location has significantly shifted. After some deep reflection and prayer, I don’t feel as strongly about Alabama as I once did. My relationship with the Lord is paramount, and aligning with His will guides me. I want to ensure this big step truly is part of His plan for me. 🙏

This brings me to something incredibly exciting that has captured my heart and research lately: The Catholic Land Movement! 🏡

Imagine a movement that helps Catholic families reconnect with the land, establish roots, and build vibrant, faith-filled communities in rural settings. It’s all about glorifying God through our connection to His creation, strengthening family life, and creating a supportive network of homesteads. This movement also emphasizes the practical side of establishing thriving small farms and homesteads – something I feel is increasingly important for all of us as we think about our food sources. 🍎🥕

The principles and potential of the Catholic Land Movement inspire me deeply, and I’ll dive deeper into its many advantages in a post this week. Stay tuned to learn more about what folks involved in this movement hope to achieve!

So, while the physical manifestation of my tiny house and land might be a little further down the road, the journey isn’t over! In fact, it feels like it’s evolving in a really meaningful way. I am truly thrilled to share this process with all of you.
